Free Erotica Tuesday

Witch Walking
By Axa Lee

She doesn’t say anything, just pulls off her shirt and straddles me. It’s too hot to sleep, too humid to cuddle, our flesh sticks together, swollen, and makes a sucking, ripping sound whenever we shift positions. But she’s apparently adapted a “can’t beat ‘em, beat off” attitude, stroking my cock and tucking me inside her.

Fucking her, in this heat, is like fucking fire. She burns, she melts, she explodes. She rips her orgasm from me, taking all of me into her, grinding her hips down on me, clamping her pussy down on my cock until she pounds the orgasm from herself, from me, and I spurt into her, mirroring her own cries to gods.

The a/c unit kicks out bursts of cooler air at us, enough to tease our hot, turgid flesh. I reach down to stroke her clit, making her writhe. If she’s fire, then I’m water, patient and overwhelming. I don’t seek to conquer; I seek to make her yield. And she does, again and again. I’m hers and she’s mine, and while she might like to pretend otherwise, her orgasms belong to me.

And overnight, outside our window, the roses bloomed orange and white, like hard-edged dreamsicles.

Romance

I'm no good at writing happy endings. I mean I really have to try. I'm a romantic at heart (much repressed), but usually the stifling of romantic gestures is what I think of when writing. How the connection between people becomes stilted or misinterpreted or rejected.

Since our daughter died this year, my partner and I have adopted butterflies, namely pink butterflies, as her sign. Kind of like a totem. Because butterflies are happiness and we want to think of her and remember happiness, not grief. My partner, unlike me, is not a repressed romantic and presented me with this card just because, thanking me for sharing joy with him. It makes me smile every time I look at it, so when I was thinking of a topic for today, romantic gestures came to mind. I'm not that creative when it comes to romantic gestures, but here's a link that is.

25 Sweet Romantic Gestures for Everyday

Or just give her a card for no reason that let's her know you appreciate the small things. It means a lot.

Have a great weekend everybody!

Why I Write (Erotica)

I think I’ve been writing sex scenes since I was twelve. Granted, they’ve gotten a bit better since then (I hope). I don’t admit to a lot of people that I write erotica. And when I do, it generally surprises them. As my boss’s son put it, “she’s too cute to write that stuff.” Instead, I say I write fiction or that I write about relationships, because it seems like a lot of people who don’t read erotica think it’s all about getting off.

Erotica is about sooooooooooo much more than that.

My son is nine months old as of this writing and my significant other and I talk a lot about how we want to deal with various issues as they arise, such as discipline, diet and exercise, etc. This includes sex. During one of these casual conversations, he mentioned that when our boy starts asking about sex that we should tell him that it’s about a very close connection to another human being and should be respected as such.

Revelation: me.

I’d never thought about it quite that way, but that’s why I love reading and writing erotica. It’s all about connection and feeling connected, or not. That’s what sex is. And that relationship, that connection, in all its forms, functions, reasons, motivations, manifestations, and feelings fascinates me.

Too bad it took me until my late twenties to realize that sex is about connection, but that’s a whole personal life issue. :)

I still probably won’t tell many people that I write erotica. But I will probably change that awkward “Oh, ummmmm I write… er, about relationships,” to “I write fiction about relationships and human connection. Usually with a cowboy hat and a saddle involved.” (Unfortunately, I’m so vanilla the saddle really is for the horse.)

So happy reading, happy writing, and remember, keep smiling—it makes people wonder what you've been up to. ~Author Unknown~

Coffitivity

Coffitivity provides a low-volume background noise of a coffee shop... right in your office! The claim is that the volume level of a coffee shop is the perfect mix to promote creativity. I've done quite a bit of writing to it in the mornings and while I don't know if I was more or less productive, I liked the noise and got into a nice flow. Best of all, its free.

Coffitivity
Enough noise to work.

Publishing News

I've been wanting to get back into the habit of posting here, just keep procrastinating, wondering what contribution I make to the genre of erotica, etc. But here's a place to start: being included in the anthology Shameless Behavior, released by Go Deeper Press. Look for it as an ebook in August. Here's a sneak peek at the cover. Check back soon and new content, more updates, I promise.

Cheers!
